Could sustainable fuels support our transition to an electric vehicle future?

Electric car values have dropped significantly in the last month. As I reported in my last blog post, some dealers are not even buying electric or hybrid stock at the moment. It seems buyers are being put off by higher electricity prices alongside reduced oil prices, long queues reported over the Christmas period at charging points, and concerns about battery efficiency longevity.

If the electric car isn’t the only solution for reducing motor vehicle pollution in the long term, albeit it seems the government hasn’t realised this yet, then could synthetic fuel be the answer? This would allow internal combustion to continue for many years to come without causing any detriment to our environment, which in turn would enable us to put in place sufficient infrastructure for an electric future!
